Timber Clearing and Tree Removal Across the OKC Metro

Timber Cleared at the Scale the Job Actually Calls For

A stand of trees sitting where a new house goes is a different job than a wooded tract headed for development, and the same crew should be able to do both. We have taken down everything from a handful of trees for an addition to large scale land clearing ahead of dirt work, and we size the equipment to the property instead of forcing one method onto every job.

We clear timber for residential builds, additions, and commercial development, and we work the material as we go. Where it makes sense we grind or mulch it on-site rather than piling it up. Because we also grub and grade, the tract comes out ready for the next step instead of just knocked down. Every job starts with a free on-site look, so you get a firm number before a machine moves.

What Our Timber Clearing Covers

Tree Removal and Timber Clearing for Oklahoma Property

From a few trees on a homesite to large scale land clearing on a development tract, we match the equipment and the method to your timber.

Tree removal for new development

Clearing the trees in the way of a new home, addition, or commercial build, working around what you want to keep.

Large-scale timber clearing

Clearing wooded tracts and development sites, coordinated with the dirt work and grading that follow.

Selective tree clearing

Taking out specific trees while protecting the mature ones that give a property its value and shade.

Small and medium tree removal

Right-sized removals for residential lots and acreage where you do not need a full clear-cut.

Timber Clearing at Any Scale

Six Trees or Sixty Acres, the Job Changes

The equipment, the crew size, and what happens to the wood all shift with the scale. Here is how we read it.

A Few Trees for a Build

Sometimes it is six trees standing where the garage goes. That is a precision job: drop them tight, protect the house, the drive, and the fence, and get the wood and the tops off the lot. Smaller equipment, careful rigging, and a clean finish matter more than raw production here.

Selective Clearing

Selective tree clearing takes longer per acre than a straight clear-cut, and we will tell you that up front. We walk the tract with you, mark what comes down and what stays, and work the machines around the keepers. A mature blackjack or post oak took decades to get that size, and no amount of money puts one back this year.

Whole Tracts for Development

Large scale land clearing is a production job. Bigger iron, a working plan for the material, and a haul route that holds up when the ground gets wet. The volume of wood is what drives the schedule, so we sort out grinding on-site versus hauling before we start, not halfway through.

Timber Clearing Cost in Oklahoma

How Much Does Timber Clearing Cost?

Timber clearing is priced per job, after we take an on-site look. There is no honest flat rate we can quote sight unseen, because two tracts of the same acreage can be very different jobs. Twenty acres of scattered cedar and twenty acres of heavy blackjack and post oak are not the same amount of wood, and the wood is what drives the work.

Timber Clearing FAQs

Timber Clearing Questions, Answered

How much does timber clearing cost?
It is priced per job based on acreage, tree size and density, terrain, access, and how the material is handled. We give you a firm number after walking the site, and the estimate is free.
What happens to the timber and debris?
We work the material on-site where we can, grinding or mulching it rather than leaving piles. If it needs to be hauled off, we scope that with the estimate.
Can you clear timber without taking every tree?
Yes, and on a lot of properties that is the smarter play. Selective tree clearing means we walk the tract first, mark what has to go and what stays, and run the machines around the keepers. Mature blackjack and post oak are worth protecting. They took decades to reach that size, and cedar or scrub will fill back in long before an oak does. Selective work is slower per acre than a clear-cut, so we scope it honestly and tell you what the difference looks like before you decide.
Do you buy the timber or do I keep it?
We do not buy timber and we will not put a value on your wood, because that is a different trade with its own market. What we do is clear it and work the material. Where it makes sense we grind or mulch it on-site so you are not left with piles, and where it needs to leave the property we scope the haul-off with the estimate so you know that cost before we start. If you want to keep firewood or saw logs, tell us on the walk-through and we will stage it where you want it.
Do you clear timber for builders and developers?
Yes. A good share of our timber clearing is B2B work ahead of dirt work, clearing and grinding wooded tracts for site and paving contractors across the OKC metro. We coordinate with your grading and utility schedule so the site is open when your dozers show up, and because we also grub and grade, we can hand off a tract that is ready to work instead of one that still needs another contractor.
